W.E. Couplings Ltd have re-designed traditional fire hydrant pipe manifolds to remove redundant space and material, and smooth the flow of liquid, requiring less power for a greater delivery. With our new fully-fluidic design, there is less variation between the input and output pressures, and also less turbulence is created as the liquid navigates through the manifold.

Fire field logistics are of top priority when facing industrial responses. Large scale fire emergencies require huge volumes of water, which sometimes require multiple large diameter water supply hoses. The safest and most reliable means of distributing large volumes of water over an entire facility is by constructing underground water delivery systems (ring mains), with above ground hydrant manifolds.

 

These hydrant manifolds are then used in conjunction with large diameter water supply hose to supply the necessary water to pumps, sprinkler systems, portable and fixed fire monitors and cannons. This swivel manifold system will allow the first responders to reposition the hydrant in the most advantageous direction depending on the location(s) of the hazard and lock it into place using an onboard swivel lock.
